Respite services at St. Anne’s provide people with short breaks away from home, with focus on community/social activities and daily activities.
Currently, respite breaks are provided in dedicated respite houses and breaks are arranged for both adults and children, at different intervals throughout the year.
Claddagh Children’s Respite House
Claddagh house is based in Roscrea Co Tipperary; We provide services for Children from HSE West and HSE Leinster areas. Service Users avail of day, evening, week-end overnight respite depending on need. It is a community based house and can accommodate up to four children. Referrals come through NTANC (North Tipperary Assessment of Need Committee) and through HSE Leinster social workers and care workers.
Hillside Adult’s Respite House
Hillside is based in Birr County Offaly and provides respite to adults from North Tipperary and Offaly. The house is community based and can accommodate up to five service users depending on need. Referrals come through NTANC (North Tipperary Assessment of Need Committee) and through HSE Leinster social workers and care workers.
