Corporate Volunteering

Corporate volunteering is a wonderful and meaningful way for your company and your staff to connect and feel part of a Service that works with people with intellectual disability.  The Daughters of Charity welcomes organisations that are interested in once off projects or who want to foster a long term partnership.

In 2012 the Daughters of Charity welcomed employees from Google and Kellogg’s.  Both companies thoroughly enjoyed their day of volunteering and have offered to come back for similar projects in the future.

Many organisations, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility programme, support their employees to spend time volunteering.  If your organisation is interested in a volunteer project please contact Rhoda Judge, volunteer Co-ordinator to arrange an introductory meeting.  This meeting will give you the opportunity to find out more about the Daughters of Charity Service and you will also discuss ways as to how your organisation can successfully engage with our Service.

A team of volunteers armed with paint brushes and rollers worked together to turn the playground in St Vincent’s Centre into a sea of colour.  The volunteer team consisted of employees from Google and the Daughters of Charity very own volunteer force.
