Everyone has something to give
We believe in the unique contribution that volunteers make to our service. No particular qualifications are required, just a willingness to make a reliable commitment and a difference in a persons life.
Some questions to ask yourself
How could I get involved with my community?
In what ways do I feel I can contribute?
Are my circumstances likely to change in the near future?
Some questions we will answer
What kinds of opportunities are available?
What can I expect as a volunteer?
What training will I receive?

Recognition of a person who gives their time and commitment is important to the Daughters of Charity Service. In December 2007 the service's volunteers celebrated The United Nations International Volunteers Day by meeting President McAleese, this was followed by a reception and a tour of the state rooms in Aras an Uachtarain. All volunteers had a wonderful time and a big thank you to the staff at Aras an Uachtarain and President McAleese for facilitating such a memorable day. |
